LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

Using holistic tools to meet goals

WHY THERAPY?

If you are stressed or worried, let's plan the path to wellness.  Using cognitive behavioral therapy, communication skills building, as well as holistic approaches including mindfulness, energy therapy, and yoga, we will define and meet your goals.

Telehealth allows me to see anyone located in Massachusetts, from Pittsfield to Worcester to Boston and the Cape & Islands.

WHO DO I HELP?

✅  Is your anxiety intrusive, disrupting your day or your sleep?  Let's get to work on making those ruminations and uncomfortable feelings smaller and smaller and less and less frequent until we get to No Big Deal!

✅  Do you have trouble focusing or managing your time?  Do you wish you could get your tasks completed but you just can't?  Have you ever suspected that you may have ADHD?  Let's figure out what's going on and what steps to take towards help!

✅  Do you have trouble understanding social expectations or cues?  Do your days feel exhausting because interactions are so draining?  Do you get overwhelmed by too many sensory inputs?  Let's create a safe and comfortable space to explore if you might be on the autism spectrum, and what resources will be helpful!

WHO AM I?

I have 20 years of counseling experience after earning my Masters in Counseling Psychology at Lesley University in 2007.  After years serving a wide range of clients and issues at community mental health agencies in Framingham and Worcester, I started a private practice in 2015.  And I haven't looked back!  While the pandemic took me from full-time in-person practice to full-time doxy.me telehealth practice as of Monday March 16, 2020, I love the changes telehealth brings to counseling.  Now clients can zip out to their cars on a lunch break for a 45-minute appointment, or sneak in a session (quietly!) while the baby naps.

WELLNESS
COACH

Putting all the pieces together

WHY COACHING?

Rather than focus on a possible mental health disorder, coaching focuses on frustrations in the present and where you want to go in the future.  If you are running into the same problem over and over again -- chronic fights with no resolution, feeling burned out, frustrated by feeling overwhelmed or disorganized --coaching can help create a clear plan and build skills to get you where you want to go.

WHO DO I HELP?

✅  Are you frustrated by interpersonal relationships?  Let's work on clear communication skills and setting healthy boundaries!

✅  Are you overwhelmed by job or life stressors?  Let's break down the big stuff into small do-able steps, and keep building on those successes!
✅  Do you keep wishing you could get yourself organized, either with stuff or with tasks?  Let's make that organization happen, with clarifying priorities and strategizing how to get to your goals!

Between stimulus and response there is a space.

In that space is our power to choose our response.

In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
